#1 Eye of the beholder

My return to painting after years. I was thinking of starting painting for couple of years, then one day i met this woman who had most ‘‘detailed’’ blue eyes i have ever seen. Couple of days later i thought of those eyes and had an idea that it would make one nice looking painting, to paint a blue eye up close. So that became the vision of this painting, and at the end of the day i had a canvas and brush in my hand.

Process of this painting definitely took me longer than i expected, with all the details in it, but it was super rewarding to finish it. Along the way i had thoughts of doubt one day and the next i was like holy shit this is fucking beautiful.

This painting is definitely my personal favorite in my collection, well at least so far. :)
